​The first nine chapters of the book present the case for needing true wisdom, which can be summarized by the statement that the fear of the Lord is the wisdom (9:10).  Knowing the Lord and walking according to His word is wise, and will impact every aspect of our lives.  Beginning with the tenth chapter, we are met with one statement after another declaring wisdom versus foolishness, covering everyday topics such as our words, family, friendships, humility, life & death, money and so much more.  Those who are believers in Christ have been brought into an eternal relationship with God that impacts every part of our lives, will we choose to live according to God’s word and be wise, or will we ignore His counsel as a fool?
